01/ 2013 New album by The Omelettes

The Omelettes presented their second album, The Drawing & The Traveller. As well as the first one the CD was released as a 7'' special edition and the music keeps the retro powerpop influences. The Drawing & The Traveller contains 10 tracks and can be streamed at The Omelettes' Bandcamp page. The band also presented a music video for the song "Mondays".

09/ 2012 The Kavanaghs tour the US

Powerpop band The Kavanaghs is currently touring the USA. They announced 8 shows in cities like LA, Cleveland, Fresno, Des Moines and Washington DC. In LA they'll be part of the important Culture Collide Festival, organized by Filter Magazine, and in Cleveland they'll be joined onstage by powerpop legend Jim Bonfanti, The Rapsberries' drummer.

La banda powerpop The Kavanaghs está girando por los Estados Unidos. Anunciaron 8 shows en ciudades como Los Angeles, Cleveland, Fresno, Des Moines y Washington DC. En Los Angeles participarán del importante festival Culture Collide, organizado por Filter Magzine, y en Cleveland serán acompañados en el escenario por la leyenda del powerpop Jim Bonfanti, baterista de The Rapsberries.

08/ 2012 Please Me by Poncho at Paul Oakenfold's new album

Paul Oakenfold, legendary British DJ and productor, included "Please Me" by Poncho feat. Maxi Trusso in his new album We Are Planet Perfecto vol. 2. Paul listenede to the song while visiting Argentina during the summer and produced new remixes. "It’s an incredible infectious record with such a stand out vocal. I love it", he said to Armada Music's site.

Paul Oakenfold, legendario DJ y productor británico, incluyó "Please Me" de Poncho feat. Maxi Trusso en su nuevo álbum We Are Planet Perfecto vol. 2. Electropop duo Ut Ut Ut gives away its first EP featuring 5 tracks, 3 originals, a Bobby Hebb cover and a remix. The band describes their sound as a mix of electronic, disco and a touch of rock rock. The EP was produced by Ut Ut Ut and mastered by synthezisers wizard Sebastián Cordovés from Cosaquistos En Globo.

MDYMN (or Moodyman), the electrorock band from the south of the Buenos Aires area was very active during the first half of the year. After releasing the album Get Ready 4 Zombeats, they presented their Live Sessions, a remixes compilation called Remises yand their EP 2012 presenting 2 new tracks.

The electropop band from the city of Rosario Shine gives away its second album, Broken Hours, through their BandCamp page. The album contains 9 well written and produced tracks. Shine opened for Recoil, former Depeche Mode's member Alan Wilder's band, at their gig in Rosario in 2010.

Argentinean The Omelettes were included in the Cavern Retro compilation, released by Cavern Records, the label affiliated to the Cavern Club, Liverpool, where The Beatles were born.Of course, the band would had had no chance in case of singing in Spanish. The compilation is already for sell at iTunes. and includes the song Goodbye" by The Omelettes.

05/ 2012 The Kavanaghs at Culture Collide festival (California)

Powerpop band The Kavanaghs will perform at the 2012 edition of the Californian festival Culture Collide. The  festival is organized by the prestigious Filter Magazine and will take place on October 4-7 2012 at the Echo Park, Los Angeles, California There'll be bands from USA, UK, Sweden, Canada, Norway, Spain, Netherlands and other countries. The Kavanaghs will be, as usual, the only Argentinean.

Deep River Running, the band lead by Nick Schinder formed in London, presented the music video fortheir song "My Song", that tells the story of a breakup. The song is included in the band's second album, Revolutions For The Soul, and can be seen online here.
