The band from Rosario The Kavanaghs is busy during the seasons. On one hand they released a free single, Kinda Cool, featuring two songs. Kinda Cool can be downloaded from the bands' Soundcloud page. On the other hand, their song "Happy Christmas, My Love" was included in the Christmas compilation by Powerpop Criminals blog (USA).

Argiepop or the music from Argentina sung in English has its first hit: it is "Please Me" by Poncho, with Maxi Trusso as the guest singer. Poncho is the project of the famous local DJ Javier Zucker and it's being used at the Frávega (electronic appliances chain of stores) TV commercial, featuring Ricardo Darín, the most important local actor.

The New Beans released their debut album trought MVB records, New York. Too bad that no one knows them in their own country, because they dared to sing in English.

Musicians that play the Latin music genre called rock nacional have all radio, TV, festivals and labels for them, but keep acting stupid. In the last few months Charly García destroyed a hotel, Pity Álvarez (with problems with the law) was seen with a gyn bottle in public and Fito Páez insulted those who didn't vote for the candidate he supported (who, just hyappens to be part of a government that pays him fortunes for playing live). Keep acting like this, old men, you're making it easy for us.

10/ 2011 Debayres, touring China (thanks to their songs in English)

The tango fusion band Debayres was invited to play in China, at the Naning International Folksongs festival. The organizers decided to invite them over after hearing the band's material in English (they also have some songs in Portuguese, Spanish and Japanese). Debayres members are Sawa Kobayashi and Osi Tejerina and they already toured the USA. Their third album is being released by Poley records.

La banda de tango fusión Debayres fue invitada a tocar en China, en el festival internacional Naning International Folksongs, gracias a que los organizadores escucharon el material en inglés de la banda (que posee canciones en portugués, español y japonés).
